Elite Dangerous: Trailblazers

These are interesting times in the Elite Dangerous universe. Hot off the heels of the most engaging player event in the games history, Frontier Developments has launched their next free update, Trailblazers.
With the Thargoid menace repelled, mankind sets their sights beyond the human bubble we fought to defend. New features, new ships, and new colonization mechanics bring the possibility of creating your own starport to life. Coupled with the recent release of Powerplay 2.0, this is shaping up to be an exciting new chapter in the game's diverse community.
There is a lot to be excited for, but there is still a lot of ground to cover. For the first time in years there is a development road map, clearly outlined goals, and a renewed promise for clear communication with the community. Many of us have heard these things before, and there is good reason to go to that old standby of "wait and see".

Sentinel will be looking into the update and its colonization mechanics this weekend and through the following week. As it stands, we are unsure what exactly colonization does for us. Owning and running a station has never been a high priority due to the kind of work we do, which is why there has never been a concentrated effort to claim Magnus Gateway or EZ Aqaurii as a whole. We are builders and caretakers, not conquerors.
There are currently no official plans to establish a Sentinel Logistics station in any system. Sentinel will continue normal operations from ports in EZ Aquarii, as well as our fleet carrier [SNTL] Beacon Of Hope (J1H-22M).
Updates and changes to this policy will be broadcast here, as well as on our Discord.
