If you have a broken device or appliance, there is a near certain chance that iFixit has a guide and tools. This should be the first stop for anyone doing DIY electronic repair.

Before diving into gardening, you’ll need to know your USDA Plant Zone.
Each zone has its own set of crops with specific planting periods.
Once you know yours, a quick search: “[My Zone] plants by month”, will give you a better idea of how to prepare for the coming seasons.

Select seeds is a great resource for learning how to get started, and they also sell seeds!
If you don’t have a reliable local nursery, this is a great place to start out.
There are a ton of great guides on Youtube for anyone starting seeds indoors. This video is well thought out and detailed, and a favorite of mine.
